Ministerial Alliance
Elders
The Elders function is to oversee the effective operation of all lay counseling efforts in the ministry to ensure that their operation directly relates to the vision, mission, purpose and personality of the Church. This is to be done in an environment where individual’s gifts are identified and utilized. Each Elder is equipped to minister the word of God at any given time deemed necessary by the Senior Pastor.
Deacons
The Deacons order or structure within the church is intended to facilitate the church in its diaconal ministry. Those who are specifically called and licensed to operate as ministers or public representatives of the church, are licensed not simply to 'do' the work, but to encourage and enable it; not to have personal status, but to raise awareness within the church community of where there are needs and facilitating appropriate action.
Ministers
The Ministerial Staff consists of those men and women who have accepted a call to the ministry of the Word of God. These persons assist the Pastor in providing spiritual leadership to the Church and Body of Christ.
Mothers
The Mothers are the “seasoned” mothers selected by the Senior Pastor to support the ministry through their presence, grace, and intentional intercession discovered through a lifetime of living. They encourage, nurture, and help the women of the church to grow in grace, both spiritually and naturally. The Mothers “Undergird” the ministry and help the church as a whole through the ministry of teaching, prayer, fasting and prepare the elements for the Lord’s Supper during Communion Services.
Worship & Arts Ministries
Praise & Worship Team
The Praise and Worship Teams purpose is to usher the people into the presence of God during all worship services. They are responsible for creating an environment for anointed worship and praise and the preached Word of God. They begin every service with praise and worship and assist in other aspects of the worship services as directed.
Young Anointed Voices of Fresh Wind – Youth Choir
Their purpose is to minister through song to present Christ in a positive manner through song. Their main goal is to minister in the worship service in such a manner to promote healing, salvation and deliverance. Their repertoire consists of a variety of song styles, from traditional to contemporary gospel music. Its purpose is to provide the youth with opportunities to minister in song, as well as develop their musical abilities. The choir ministers during special events and Youth Sunday. The Youth Choir consists of children to Young Adults.
Liturgical Dance Team
The Liturgical Dancers are the liturgical dance team for the ministry. Their purpose is to enhance the worship experience through the use of sacred dance.
Family Ministries
Men’s Ministry
The Men’s Ministry is the organization designed to provide fellowship opportunities for the men of the local church body and community. Its purpose is to provide a forum for the men of the church to provide support and discipleship to and for each other.
Women’s Ministry
The Women's Ministry is designed to present the love of God to women. To present the love of God to women. To minister to the special needs and interests of today’s women. To help women develop their full potential as persons spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, socially and for ministry.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is designed to develop and train young people in the order of worship and nurture them in the Christian way of life. Also, to help cultivate and encourage them to live a healthy lifestyle that leads to adulthood ranging in ages 13 -21.
Children’s Ministry
The Children’s Ministry will provide activities geared toward the children of the church from birth through 12 years of age. Its purpose is to provide activities and programs for the children throughout their childhood that will lead them to an understanding of the Christian faith and a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior and personal development.
Marketing & Communications Ministries
Advertising & Promotions
To provide appropriate advertising and promotional materials to the media including television, radio, newspaper, magazines, postcards, flyers and billboards, among any source of advertising tools to ensure quality and excellence in and of ministry. Media Ministry
Website Development & Maintenance Team
To develop and provide appropriate website advertising and promotions, church and ministry online awareness to ensure quality and excellence in and of ministry.
Social Media Team
To develop and provide appropriate website advertising and promotions, church and ministry online awareness to ensure quality and excellence in and of ministry.
Audio Visual Team
It is the duty of this A/V ministry team to oversee the operation and maintenance of the church’s audio systems and video system to perform all functions necessary to the proper function of this responsibility
Christian Education & Development Ministries
Evangelism
The Evangelism and Outreach Ministry assumes overall Evangelical responsibility for the church whose primary missions are to reach the unchurched and unsaved, to provide services to the community at large and to support domestic mission efforts.
New Members Orientation
New member classes are designed to provide new members of the church with an introduction to the ministry, vision, mission, goals, new converts biblical awareness, salvation objectives and various ministries.
Intercessory Prayer Team
The Prayer Ministry is designed to go before the Lord with issues concerning the church and its members. The prayer ministry seeks the face of God and stands in the gap offering intercessory prayer for God’s intervention in various situations.
Guest Services
Hospitality
The task of the Hospitality Ministry is to develop a well-organized, hospitable environment. The Hospitality Ministry makes people feel wanted at our church through staffing the Hospitality/Welcome Table and The Information Table located in the vestibule area of the church. They also serve as official greeters for all ministry events. They seek to make everyone feel welcome.
Ushers
The Usher Ministry goal is to help the body of this church accomplish its overall mission by presenting a positive and loving atmosphere at the worship services. The ushers will perform such tasks as greeting each person who enters the sanctuary and assisting them in any way possible to make them feel welcome and comfortable.
Greeters
The task of the Hospitality Ministry is to develop a well-organized, hospitable environment. Culinary Arts Ministry
The Culinary Arts ministry is vital to the nutritional well-being of the church. They provide food service during the special event planning of the church and during outreach and evangelism opportunities serves meals that nourish and satisfy the hunger needs in the community
Facility Engineers
The purpose of the Facilities Ministry is to direct the maintenance, improvement and development of all church properties and equipment to assure adequate and functional facilities to meet the needs of the total program and growth of the local church.
Pastoral Care Ministry
The Pastoral Care Ministry ministers to the needs of individuals who are not able to physically attend worship services. This ministry operates in love to encourage, uplift, and aide those unable to aide themselves. They provide FRESH HOPE in God to those in hopeless or desperate situations due to illness, tragedy, loss of loved ones, violence or any type of devastating or life altering situation as representation and extension of the Senior Pastor.
Security Team
The members of the Security Ministry work behind the scenes to maintain a safe ministry environment and deter criminal activities. They support the ministry by being aware of things that are going on as the congregation gathers in worship, fellowship and service. They help to monitor the parking lots and building, direct traffic during events and accompany members and guest to their cars after dark.
Health & Wellness Ministry
Health Care Support – provides information, resources and spiritual support to persons who are dealing with chronic illnesses. Also, provides preventative health care information to the entire congregation and providing workshops, activities and programs to facilitate building a healthier lifestyle for the members of the local church body and community.
Life Resources Ministry
The Life Resources Ministry provides information, for job readiness and employment resources, needs and leads.
